We found out today that AV's middle name is Marie. We had thought it was Mayra, after her mother. But I finally got a copy of her birth certificate to put in her scrap book and there it was A. Marie V.
The look on her face was so sad. Like she knew Mayra hadn't been right, but she wasn't sure.
How sad a commentary when you don't even know your middle name!

Yes, it is sad. But she has YOU now. And her life is so much better than it would have been if you hadn't made the wonderful choice that you did.
