So I'm going to a 1-day training seminar tomorrow.
The topic? Document Retention and Destruction in the Age of Electronic Documents (How document retention impacts litigation and business in the computer age).
So am I the only one who would find such a seminar interesting?
I'm actually really looking forward to it! How weird am I? =-)

I know exactly what you are talking about!
You need to have a retention schedule and stick to it. Really important documents should be in a human-readable form. That's a problem these days. Do you have an 8 track player? Of course not. So a document on something like an old 8 track player is worthless. You have to keep migrating stuff into readable forms.
The tobacco industry got nailed because of old memos that they kept. Now, we use e-mail instead of memos. E-mails NEVER fully disappear!
I love this stuff. Can you tell?
